Connect your AI assistant to Tidela

For Claude, ChatGPT, and any assistant that supports MCP. Last updated: October 22, 2026

You already ask an AI assistant for help with your day. But it can't see your pipeline, so you end up copying deal details in, then retyping its answers back into your CRM. Connect Tidela and your assistant works from your real accounts, contacts, and deals. Ask it to prep you for a meeting, log a call summary, or move a deal forward, and it does the work in Tidela for you.

Connect Tidela in Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and find Tidela. If it isn't listed, choose Add custom connector and paste https://app.tidela.ai/mcp.
  2. Click Connect. Tidela's sign-in screen opens.
  3. Sign in to Tidela, choose the workspace you want the assistant to use, and approve.

That's it. Start a new chat and ask something like "What's in my open pipeline?"

On Claude Team and Enterprise plans, an organization Owner adds Tidela once for the whole organization, and then each person connects their own Tidela login. On Pro and Max plans, each person adds it themselves.

Connect ChatGPT or another assistant

Any assistant that supports remote MCP servers can connect. Add a custom connector or remote MCP server with the URL https://app.tidela.ai/mcp, then sign in and approve on Tidela's screen. The exact menu names depend on the assistant.

Before you start

  • You need a Tidela account. Start a free trial if you don't have one.
  • Workspace owners and admins can always connect. Other members can connect once an admin turns on Members may connect their own AI assistants under Admin, Developers, API & webhooks.
  • Each person connects with their own login. There is no shared company connection, and the assistant only sees what that person can see.

Things to ask

  • "Prep me for my meeting with Acme. Who are the contacts and what's happened lately?"
  • "Which deals are in Proposal, and what's the total?"
  • "Log a note on the Crane deal: they want pricing for 12 seats by Friday."
  • "Move the Crane deal to Negotiation and set the close date to November 30."
  • "Add Jordan Lee, VP of Operations at Acme, jordan@acme.com."
  • "What tasks are due this week?"

What your assistant can do

Read (no changes to your data):

  • Search CRM: find accounts, contacts, deals, and projects by name, domain, email, or phone.
  • Get account, contact, or deal: one record with its related people, deals, and recent activity.
  • List deals: filter by open, won, or lost, and by stage.
  • Get project or list projects: jobs with their custom fields, linked accounts, contacts, deals, and recent activity. Filter by stage or account.
  • List activities: tasks, calls, and notes, including what's due next.
  • Workspace summary: record counts and your open pipeline by stage.

Write (makes changes in Tidela):

  • Create account, contact, or deal: duplicates are caught and the existing record is returned instead.
  • Update account, contact, or deal: only the fields you mention change. Moving a deal to a new stage runs the same automations as the app.
  • Log note: adds a note to a record's timeline.

What it can never do

A connected assistant works one record at a time. It cannot delete or archive records, export data in bulk, or use bulk update tools. Those tools don't exist on this connection at all. Every request is rate-limited and recorded, and shows up in your workspace's usage and history like any other change.

See or remove connections

Go to Admin, Developers, API & webhooks and open Connected apps & AI assistants (MCP). You'll see every connection, who approved it, and when it was last used. Click Disconnect to cut off access right away. You can also remove Tidela from your assistant's connector settings.

Troubleshooting

  • "You can't authorize apps for that workspace," or your workspace isn't in the list: ask a workspace admin to turn on member connections.
  • Wrong workspace: disconnect Tidela in your assistant, then connect again and choose the other workspace.

Privacy and security

Tidela receives only the requests your assistant sends, such as a search or a note to log. It does not receive your conversation. Read our privacy policy and Enterprise Security page for details.
